Size the trade before you place it
The calculators from the WhitePips dashboard, with the dashboard's own arithmetic: exposure against your account's cap, the lot size that fits your risk, position value, profit or loss, swap and margin. There is no price feed on this page, so type the current price from your platform and every figure follows.
Contract sizes and point sizes are the usual MetaTrader 5 conventions and the exchange's own specifications for futures; your platform's symbol specification is the one that applies, and every figure here can be edited under Contract details. The Max. Exposure cap, leverage and position limits are read from the published plan board. Nothing on this page is a quote or trading advice.
How to read this
Pick the market and the calculator
CFDs or futures, then one of the seven tabs: Max exposure, Trade planner, Position, Profit / Loss, Lot size, Swap or Margin. The fields change with the tab.
Choose the account size
The Max. Exposure cap, leverage and position limits are read from the published plan board for the size you pick, so the figures are the plan’s own.
Type the price from your platform
There is no price feed on this page. Enter the current price, the lot size or contracts and the stop or target, and every figure follows at once.
Read the result
The large figure first, the meter against the cap, then the rows beneath it. Contract details lets you edit the contract and point size; How it’s worked out shows the formula.
The rules behind the numbers
The same calculators, inside your dashboard
On a WhitePips account the calculators read your live balance, open exposure and the plan’s limits, so every figure is your own.
